Enyeart Auction & Realty was established by Col. Wallace Enyeart in the small Chariton County town of Keytesville over 50 years ago. Wallace discovered his love and natural talent for auctioneering early in life while growing up on a farm northwest of Keytesville. After high school, he attended auction school and quickly became popular and well-known for his rapid, clear, and smooth auction chant. His auction career also included livestock auctions, being employed by numerous livestock markets throughout mid-Missouri as well as selling many purebred livestock and production auctions. As a livestock auctioneer, Wallace is a past Reserve World Champion Auctioneer and a past Missouri Cattlemen Champion Auctioneer.

Wallace’s real estate career began with United Farm Agency in 50’s and become one of the area’s top-selling agents in mid-Missouri. Wallace served as the Chariton County Treasurer & Ex-Officio Collector for 16 years until 1980 when he chose to devote more time to the auction & real estate business. Over his 50+ years in the auction & real estate business, he has conducted thousands of auctions and brokered millions of dollars in real estate throughout Missouri & Kansas. Wallace enjoyed tending to his cow/calf operation and raising, training, and selling coon hounds. Wallace was an avid waterfowl and coon hunter and an impressive marksman with a pistol, rifle or shotgun. Wallace passed away in 2011 at the age of 77, but his legacy lives on by his sons and grandsons.
